In 2023 we unveiled a mural focusing on Lurin, an 11-year-old girl who lives in the neighborhood, more specifically the Kroonmolenwijk.
Artist Han Coussement used a photo of the girl, which was chosen from many other images. The girl symbolizes the diversity of the neighborhood, more than 40 different nationalities live there. In addition, this work beautifully portrays daily life in the Kroonmolenwijk.
